Race pace converter

Pheewwww! Two days ago I had a major scare. Of course I am exaggerating, but if you are a runner you will undestand what I mean.

So, what happened was I tried to look into my favorite online Run pace converter page. The one that I have been using for the past what seems like millions of years.

And it wasn’t working. In fact it seemed like it never existed! Like the web provider had expired or something along those lines.

And for two days I had to guess my training paces as (obviously) no other site is good enough! So imagine my relief when yesterday my favourite race page converter was up and running again,  what beautiful news!

I was able to see that my 5k pace tempo run that I did on the treadmill the other day, which ranged from 13.3 km/h to 13.8km/h for the last 800m actually means a pace of between 4.30 and 4.20 min/km, give or take. Pretty happy with that, even if only an approximation, I know treadmill running is not that ideal, but it is the best I can do right now as we are going through a ‘sickie’ week at home.

Anyway, I just wanted to share the website.

www.bane.info

Got it? They have gotten me through years and years of running training and it took a couple of days of the website being down to realise I could not live without it as a runner or coach.

Check it out.
